Job Summary:

The Instructor of HVAC-R is an important member of the College’s instructional team and is responsible for teaching the course objectives for the HVAC-R program, including curriculum implementation, maintaining a schedule of classes, and fostering a culture of professionalism, innovation, and excellence, and continuously monitors and improves instructional quality and student outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Hold at least an associate’s degree in HVAC-R or a closely-related field and have a minimum of three years relevant, industry-specific workforce experience In addition, the successful candidate must have strong communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills, organization and time management skills, strong computer skills, and hold the Universal EPA certification. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in higher education specifically a community college setting is preferred, but not required;  Minimum of five years experience as an HVAC-R technician.
