BIM Modeler – Commercial HVAC & Plumbing
Location: Loveland, CO | Full-Time, In-Person
Pay: $50,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

Kuck Mechanical Contractors is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented BIM Modeler to join our team in Loveland, Colorado!
We are a family-owned mechanical contractor with over 27 years in business, specializing in commercial HVAC and plumbing construction. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with technology, solving complex design challenges, and collaborating with project teams to bring construction plans to life.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
As part of our BIM team, you will:
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D models of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
- Create detailed construction drawings, layouts, and coordination documents.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and other trades to identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Assist with mechanical and plumbing system layouts, equipment selection, and sizing.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and engineering documents to ensure accuracy.
- Update models and drawings to reflect design changes and field conditions.
- Maintain organized project files, model revisions, and documentation.
- Ensure models and drawings comply with applicable building codes, project specifications, and industry standards.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, and Autodesk Navisworks.
- Experience with architectural, mechanical, or HVAC detailing.
- Strong understanding of BIM modeling, CAD drafting, and construction documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers, project managers, and field teams.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience modeling commercial HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical system design principles, equipment sizing, and layout.
- Familiarity with applicable mechanical, plumbing, and building codes.
- Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection on large commercial construction projects.
- Experience working with licensed Professional Mechanical Engineers.
