Commercial HVAC Installer (15+ Years Experience)

Seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer with 15 or more years of hands-on experience installing, replacing, and commissioning HVAC systems for businesses.&nbsp; This is a union role, and we welcome non-union candidates who are interested in becoming unionized.</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 15.0pt;"><span style="color: black;">&nbsp;</span><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Install commercial HVAC equipment and associated piping/ductwork</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Perform equipment changeouts and retrofit projects</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Collaborate with crane picks and rigging operations</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Complete startup and commissioning activities</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Ensure all work meets code requirements and company quality standards</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Leadership over journeymen and apprentices</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Supervise crews and coordinating with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and customers</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Required Experience and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Experienced in working on:</li><ul style="margin-top: 0in;" type="circle"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Commercial rooftop units (RTUs)</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Air Handling Units (AHUs)</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF and VRV) systems</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Boilers (hot water and steam)</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled)</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Cooling towers</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Hydronic piping systems</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Sheet metal ductwork installation</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Refrigerant piping and controls coordination</li></ul></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Leadership experience</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Strong troubleshooting and startup experience</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">OSHA10</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Valid driver's license</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Experience working in occupied commercial buildings such as healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Frequently Required:&nbsp;Walking.&nbsp;Max carry 75lbs.&nbsp;&nbsp;Push/pull 40-75lbs.&nbsp;Exposure to hot and cold temperature.&nbsp;Working at heights.&nbsp;Operate motorized equipment.</li></ul><ul><li>Occasionally Required:&nbsp;Standing, bending, or twisting. Kneeling, crouching, stopping, and crawling. Repetitive motion. Working with arms raised over head. Working on or from ladders.
