Location: North Atlanta / North Georgia

Pay: $28–$58/hour, based on experience

Standard Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Overtime: Opportunities available

On-Call: 7-day rotation approximately once every 8 weeks

Blue Mountain Mechanical is looking for a well-rounded Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team.

This is a field service position working primarily in commercial and light industrial environments throughout the north side of Atlanta and North Georgia.

You'll work on a little bit of everything, making this a great opportunity for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting, variety, and continuing to expand their technical knowledge.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify equipment issues before they become larger problems.
• Work on a wide variety of commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC control-related issues.
• Respond to service calls at commercial and light industrial facilities throughout the North Atlanta service area.
• Clearly communicate equipment conditions, repairs, and recommendations to customers.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain your company-provided service vehicle and equipment.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule, typically 7 days approximately once every 8 weeks.
• Follow established safety procedures and represent Blue Mountain Mechanical professionally in the field.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a well-rounded commercial HVAC technician with a strong service and troubleshooting background. You don't need to know everything about every piece of equipment, but you should be comfortable diagnosing problems, working independently, and figuring things out in the field.

Requirements include:

• Previous commercial HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with a variety of commercial HVAC equipment
• EPA certification
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers
• Willingness to participate in the rotating on-call schedule

Schedule & Compensation

• $28–$58/hour, based on experience and skill level
• Standard schedule of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Overtime opportunities available
• Technicians may have opportunities to work 45–60 hours per week depending on workload and overtime availability
• 7-day on-call rotation approximately once every 8 weeks
