HVAC Apprentice

Job Details: Job Location: Lee Enterprises - Tulsa, OK, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: None, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Lee Plumbing, Heat & Air, and Electrical is seeking a motivated and dependable HVAC Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position provides hands-on training and experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The HVAC Apprentice will work alongside experienced technicians to develop technical skills while providing excellent customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist HVAC technicians with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating and cooling systems. Help install HVAC equipment, ductwork, thermostats, and related components. Perform basic maintenance tasks, including changing filters, cleaning equipment, and inspecting systems. Learn to diagnose HVAC issues and assist with necessary repairs. Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a clean and organized condition. Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials. Participate in training opportunities to develop HVAC knowledge and technical skills. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or lead technicians. Qualifications: Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. No prior HVAC experience required; willingness to learn is essential. Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred. Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or varying weather conditions. Commitment to workplace safety and excellent customer service. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, with assistance for heavier items. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC equipment. Expectations The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, take direction from experienced technicians, and consistently show professionalism and reliability. As skills and experience develop, the HVAC Apprentice will be expected to take on additional responsibilities and work toward becoming an independent HVAC Service Technician or Installer.
