Kelso Building Services is seeking a customer-focused professional with a background in HVAC service, operations, or project management who can identify opportunities, strengthen client partnerships, and help expand our service offerings.
This role is designed for someone who has built trust in the field and understands the challenges facility owners, operators, and maintenance teams face. You’ll use your technical knowledge and customer relationships to uncover opportunities for service agreements, preventive maintenance programs, equipment upgrades, controls solutions, and repair needs.
Working alongside operations and leadership teams, you’ll help develop new opportunities while ensuring customers continue receiving the quality, responsiveness, and expertise they expect.

Key Responsibilities
Identify New Opportunities
Leverage industry knowledge and customer relationships to uncover service, repair, maintenance, and upgrade opportunities. Develop strategies to expand existing accounts and generate new business.
Understand Customer Needs & Recommend Solutions
Meet with customers to evaluate challenges, discuss goals, and recommend HVAC solutions that improve system performance, reliability, and long-term value.
Develop Sales Proposals
Prepare estimates, proposals, and recommendations that clearly communicate project scope, benefits, and value. Present solutions professionally and guide customers through decision-making.
Partner With Internal Teams
Collaborate with operations, service teams, project managers, and leadership to ensure opportunities are accurately scoped and successfully delivered.
Strengthen Customer Partnerships
Maintain trusted relationships by serving as a knowledgeable resource and ensuring customers receive consistent communication and support.
Drive Revenue Growth
Work toward established business goals by expanding accounts, developing opportunities, and contributing to overall company growth.
Qualifications

2+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC, refrigeration, service, project management, or technical sales

Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, service processes, and customer operations

Existing relationships within commercial facilities, retail, supermarkets, industrial, or similar markets preferred

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Self-directed and motivated with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities

Experience with CRM systems (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
