HVAC Duct Leakage & Air Balance Technician

This role is responsible for performing duct leakage and air balancing testing of air conditioning systems. This employee should be safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in residential or commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duct leakage and air balancing operations using specialized testing equipment
  
• Prepare and protect work areas before testing
  
• Inspect and identify problems and correct them during testing to meet municipal and energy star codes
  
• Be able to read manual J load calculations and adjust air flow to meet municipal and energy star codes
  
• Operate and maintain testing equipment
  
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and job-site protocols
  
• Work efficiently individually or part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors
  
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly dispose of waste materials
  
• Travel to job sites in a company vehicle
  

Work Environment

• Residential and Commercial job sites
  
• Exposure to dust, noise, and confined spaces (PPE provided)
  

Hours

·       Monday – Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm
