We're seeking an HVAC Field Supervisor to oversee controls installations for one of our client's commercial mechanical projects. Our client is a respected controls and mechanical contractor with a strong project pipeline across institutional, healthcare, and large commercial work. Their field leadership team is tenured, technically sharp, and known for running clean jobs from kickoff through closeout.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily field operations across multiple active jobsites including manpower, schedule, and quality
- Coordinate with general contractors, mechanical trades, and engineering teams on installation sequencing
- Submit and track RFIs, permitting documentation, and submittal packages through project lifecycle
- Lead startup, point-to-point checkout, and commissioning activities with project engineers
- Mentor field technicians and enforce safety, workmanship, and documentation standards on site
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with HVAC controls and DDC systems
- Prior supervisory experience leading field crews on commercial construction projects
- Working knowledge of Automated Logic or comparable building automation platforms
- AutoCAD proficiency for redlines, as-builts, and shop drawing review
- Experience reading mechanical, electrical, and control drawings
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination
- Ability to communicate clearly with owners, engineers, and trade partners
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between regional jobsites
