As an Apprentice HVAC Technician here at Honeywell, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and training in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems while working alongside industry-leading professionals. You will be equipped with the tools and resources needed to deliver exceptional service, solve building inefficiencies, and provide trusted solutions to our customers.

You will report directly to our Service Manager and you’ll work out of our Richmond, VA location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact customer satisfaction by ensuring HVAC mechanical equipment and controls operate efficiently, while developing your technical skills through coaching and mentorship in a safety-focused environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform HVAC mechanical equipment and controls service on client sites under supervision.
  • Develop troubleshooting skills to resolve technical and customer issues through coaching and mentorship.
  • Communicate job progress and issues to Honeywell, contractors, and customers as needed.
  • Meet attendance requirements for required Union training during the first year.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to improve facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities.
  • Prepare quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
