Position Summary

ER Services is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to join our team. This role assists HVAC Install Technicians with residential and light commercial HVAC system installations while learning the trade through hands-on training. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and eager to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, thermostats, and related components.
  • Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for daily jobs.
  • Maintain clean and safe job sites before, during, and after installations.
  • Follow lead installer instructions and company installation standards.
  • Support testing, startup, and basic system verification.
  • Communicate professionally with customers when appropriate.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
  • Participate in training and develop technical HVAC skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoors.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, attendance, and teamwork.
