Position Overview 

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Install Lead to run residential installations from start to finish. In this role, you will lead installs of complete HVAC systems, direct helpers and apprentices on site, and take ownership of quality, code compliance, and customer experience on every job. This is a piece rate position: your earnings are tied directly to the work you complete, so the more efficient and skilled you are, the more you earn. This role reports to the General Manager.

What You'll Do 

Lead the installation of residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, attic and vertical splits, and ductwork, ensuring proper efficiency and functionality 

Direct and mentor install helpers and apprentices on site, assigning tasks and verifying quality of work 

Perform system startup and commissioning on newly installed systems to confirm proper operation 

Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications, mechanical codes, and safety standards 

Communicate effectively with management, dispatch, and the install team to keep the daily schedule on track 

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process, ensuring client satisfaction 

Complete installation documentation accurately and promptly, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment inventory 

Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and truck inventory 

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times 

Participate in company provided training to stay current with industry changes 

What We're Looking For 

4+ years of residential HVAC installation experience, with proven experience leading installs or crews 

EPA Universal Certification required 

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills 

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals 

High level of accountability and pride in quality workmanship 

Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude with strong communication skills 

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 

ServiceTitan experience a plus 

Bilingual is a plus
