Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations of HVAC installation teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability.

• Manage scheduling and coordination of installation jobs with dispatch and operations teams.

• Train, coach, and develop install technicians and crews to improve performance and workmanship.

• Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards.

• Monitor job performance, labor efficiency, and material usage to maintain profitability.

• Conduct job site inspections and quality control checks to ensure high standards are met.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for complex installations.

• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure accurate job scopes, pricing, and customer expectations.

• Manage customer experience by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the install process.

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations.

• Oversee inventory needs and coordinate with warehouse for materials and equipment.

• Track and manage team performance, KPIs, and departmental goals.

• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management of installation team members.

• Drive a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

• Perform additional leadership and operational duties as assigned.


Requirements

• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience with leadership experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, load calculations, and local codes.

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop installation teams.

• Experience managing KPIs such as job efficiency, labor cost, and installation quality.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex installation issues.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Experience working with dispatch, sales, and operations teams.

• Proficient in job management software (ServiceTitan preferred).
