WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Install residential heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment.
Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment safely and efficiently.
Install and modify ductwork, refrigerant lines, condensate piping, venting, and other system components.
Perform proper system setup, testing, commissioning, and quality checks.
Ensure installations meet applicable codes, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.
Maintain clean, safe, organized job sites and respect customers' homes.
Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
Explain basic system operation, maintenance needs, and equipment features to customers.
Work collaboratively with other installers, technicians, and management.
Complete assigned installations efficiently while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development.
For lead technicians, provide guidance, direction, and accountability to assigned installation team members.

Must be able to communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners, teammates, and management. We expect our installers to provide customers with an excellent experience from arrival through job completion.

Outstanding Customer Interaction

Must be personable, respectful, professional, and comfortable interacting with homeowners. Maintaining a positive customer experience and protecting the customer's home are essential responsibilities.

Willingness & Ability to Learn

Must be coachable, open to constructive feedback, and eager to continuously improve technical skills, productivity, and professional development.

Technical Knowledge & Installation Skills

Must have experience with residential HVAC installations and demonstrate a strong understanding of installation procedures, system components, and industry best practices.

Efficiency & Productivity

Must be capable of working efficiently, staying organized, managing time effectively, and completing installations without sacrificing safety or quality.

Accountability & Strong Work Ethic

Must be reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and willing to take responsibility for assigned work and outcomes.

Leadership Potential

We're especially interested in experienced installers who can lead by example, help develop other technicians, and contribute to building a high-performing installation department.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Previous residential HVAC installation experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation procedures, and applicable mechanical codes.
Experience installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment.
Ability to read and interpret installation instructions, equipment specifications, and technical diagrams.
Ability to safely use HVAC installation tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Professional appearance and willingness to follow company dress code.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to participate in training and follow company installation procedures.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to perform the physical responsibilities of an HVAC installation position safely.

EPA Section 608 certification and previous lead installation experience are preferred. Appropriate certification is required when performing regulated refrigerant work.
