HVAC Operations Manager

About the Role 

We are searching for an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of a dedicated HVAC division. This role oversees service, maintenance, and installation teams while ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day HVAC service, maintenance, and installation operations.

Oversee scheduling, dispatching, and technician resource allocation.

Monitor project budgets, labor utilization, and departmental profitability.

Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate HVAC technicians and supervisors.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local building codes.

Conduct field inspections and quality audits to maintain service standards.

Review and approve estimates, proposals, change orders, and project documentation.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships while resolving escalated service issues.

Manage vendor and subcontractor performance.

Prepare operational reports and support strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Preferences

HVAC License or Certification is highly preferred.

EPA Universal Certification.

Experience in facilities management or building services.

Strong customer service and vendor management skills.

Demonstrated experience scaling HVAC service operations.
