Assistant Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:
Assist with the unloading and loading of install trucks.
Verify delivery information on deliveries of equipment/parts for installs and repairs.
Moving all inbound shipments safely to the appropriate location in the warehouse.
Responsible for pulling and staging equipment for next day installs.
Keep accurate inventory records and reports.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
Perform physical truck inventory upon employee departure.
Ensure all trucks have proper safety equipment (first aid kit, fire extinguishers, etc.).
Return materials that are warranty/not needed for credit.
Reduce technician downtime by ensuring prompt deliveries.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsWarehouse Manager Skills & Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of inventory management experience preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking communication skills including the ability to interact professionally within all levels of the organization.
Possess a collaborative and customer service focused work style.
Must possess a willingness to effectively lead a team in a way that produces positive outcomes.
Valid driver’s license and approved to drive by the Company’s insurance carrier.
Physical Requirements
The position requires a considerable amount of physical activity including walking, standing for lengthy periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, and reaching/grasping. An equal amount of time spent indoors and outdoors with exposure to hot or cold temperatures for one or more hours.
