Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Conduct service calls for system malfunctions or property maintenance issues related to heating, cooling, plumbing, or refrigeration.
Install new HVAC components or appliances following HVAC design specifications and schematics.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair or replace equipment parts, weld components when necessary, and ensure optimal system performance.
Assist with ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized equipment requiring advanced technical skills.
Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and communicate effectively with clients about repairs or system upgrades.
Requirements
Proven experience as a service technician with a background in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, or property maintenance.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience and the ability to read schematics and HVAC designs.
Hands-on experience with equipment repair including boilers, appliances, welding tools, and ohmmeters.
Familiarity with field service operations involving air conditioning systems and ammonia refrigeration units.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred for safe transportation between sites.
Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls efficiently.

Pay: $45 - $75 per hour

Hassler Heating and Air Conditioning is growing our Install and Service
Department. We are searching for a talented, dedicated and knowledgeable HVAC
Warranty and Commissioning Technician to join our team. Do you have advanced
diagnostic abilities on new equipment? Are you familiar with proper installation

Monday through Friday with overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
Compensation: Up to $75/hr DOE
Our Ideal Candidates:
Excellent Communication Skills
Diagnosing ability on Heat Pumps, Air Conditioners, Furnaces, Mini-splits, & knowledge of zoning.
Experience in diagnosing Tanked, Tankless and Heat Pump water heaters
Experience in providing technical training and curriculum for field staff a
plus
Commercial experience a plus
NATE Core Certification & Acquire Specialty Certifications (Required with-in 1
Year of employment - Paid by company)
Carrier Infinity System Experience a plus
Trane Communicating Equipment Experience a plus
Must have minimum 2 years installation experience
Must have minimum 5 years service experience
Commissioning/Startup experience
Knowledge of installation codes
Knowledge of proper installation practices
Must pass a pre-employment background check
Clean driving record
Have the desire to grow, succeed and excel in your trade.
Self-starter, able to follow directions, and practice good communication
skills.
