About the Role:
National Heating & Air Conditioning in Clearwater, FL is looking for a skilled HVAC Repair Technician to join our growing team! If you're passionate about delivering top-notch comfort solutions and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on AC units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Identify faulty components and replace or repair parts such as compressors, motors, and thermostats
- Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repair options, and pricing
- Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed
- Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on HVAC repair and service experience
- EPA 608 Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and electrical components
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in Florida's heat and humidity, including attics and outdoor environments
