We have an exciting opportunity for a HVAC Service Sales Representative located in Appleton, WI.

How you will contribute:

We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual who enjoys selling, has strong interpersonal skills, is independent, resilient and detail orientated. The primary role of this position is selling HVAC service and small project work, with a strong focus on developing and growing business within the healthcare market, to customers in our Northeast region. This is an opportunity to showcase your persuasion and negotiation skills as you introduce a customer to Ahern’s portfolio of service and construction offerings. This position is responsible to establish contact with potential customers by scheduling calls and following up on leads while closing sufficient sales and effectively utilizing internal resources to execute service work while growing the HVAC business in our Northeast region. A key emphasis will be building relationships with healthcare facility managers and key decision-makers to identify new opportunities and expand Ahern's presence in this market. You will demonstrate your ability to anticipate customers’ needs and develop a sales strategy to meet their expectations while developing and maintaining a positive ongoing customer relationship.

What you need to qualify:

Successful candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline or equivalent HVAC industry or field experience. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of five years of progressive field sales experience with preferably three years successfully selling HVAC offerings, Energy efficiencies, and building automation system services or projects. Experience working with healthcare facilities or selling HVAC services and projects within the healthcare market is preferred. The candidate must be results-oriented, have excellent communication and customer service skills, proven leadership abilities, and strong planning and organizational skills. A demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in business and the demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels are required.
