HVAC - Service Technician: The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with HVAC standards.
Key Metrics & Duties:
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough inspections and ensure all HVAC service work meets or exceeds industry and company standards.
- Service Delivery: Successfully complete assigned HVAC service requests efficiently, ensuring minimal callbacks and maximizing productivity.
- Service Call Volume: Technicians are expected to complete a minimum of 5 service calls per day. This ensures consistent productivity, efficient scheduling, and timely service for customers. Exceptions may be made for complex jobs or emergencies at the discretion of the Service Coordinator or Service Manager.
- Customer Satisfaction: Provide clear communication and professional service, ensuring consistently high customer ratings and positive feedback.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all HVAC repairs and installations adhere to state, local, and company codes, maintaining a compliance record with no violations.
- Performance Reporting: Submit accurate and detailed service reports, including job completion details, challenges faced, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, report hazards, and ensure a zero-incident work environment while working in residential and commercial settings.
- Parts & Equipment Management: Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and service inventory, keeping an accurate record of parts used per job.
- Revenue Contribution: Identify and recommend additional HVAC services or upgrades that align with customer needs, contributing to overall service department revenue goals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with service coordinators, managers, and fellow technicians to optimize scheduling, troubleshoot complex jobs, and improve workflow efficiency.
- Training & Skill Development: Participate in ongoing training and mentorship programs to improve technical proficiency and stay updated on industry best practices.
- Job Site Cleanliness: Ensure all work areas are cleaned and restored to a better condition than found, reinforcing professionalism, customer satisfaction, and company standards.
Competencies:
- HVAC Expertise: Knowledge of HVAC systems and standards.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve HVAC issues efficiently.

Education & Experience:
- Required: Journeyman HVAC license.
- Preferred: 3+ years in HVAC service.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various field conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Pay Scale: $20-28 Hourly
