Description
Chesapeake Controls Inc. (CCI) is looking for an HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in troubleshooting complex systems, delivering excellent customer service, and completing high-quality work. Experience with refrigeration a plus!
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Clearly communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers
- Complete service documentation accurately and promptly
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate with customers, supervisors, and other team members
- Identify additional repair, replacement, and improvement opportunities
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
- Strong understanding of hydronic systems, pumps and controls
- EPA certification required.
- HVAC certification or diploma from an accredited program preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience with refrigeration a plus!
