We're looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, and dependable HVAC Service Technician / Installer who takes pride in their work, has strong troubleshooting skills, and can work efficiently and independently.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.
Perform residential HVAC equipment installations, including furnaces, air conditioners, and indoor air quality equipment.
Service, troubleshoot, repair, and install PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
Identify equipment problems accurately and complete repairs efficiently without sacrificing quality.
Provide customers with clear explanations of equipment issues, recommended repairs, and available options.
Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and equipment replacements.
Manage daily service calls efficiently and maintain productivity throughout the workday.
Maintain proper inventory and organization of service vehicle, tools, and equipment.
Complete service documentation accurately using company software.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with other company operations as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on residential HVAC service and installation experience (HVAC school does not count toward the 5 years).
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Experience with residential HVAC equipment installation.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Experience with PTAC equipment is a plus, but willingness to learn and work on PTAC systems is required.
EPA Certification required; NATE Certification is a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, computers, and HVAC service software.
Physically capable of performing HVAC service and installation work, including lifting and moving equipment.
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
Ability to pass drug testing.
