Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role 

  • Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems. 
  • Applies specialized knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems. 
  • Responds to after-hours emergencies, manages power outage procedures, and strictly follows safety protocols using personal protective equipment (PPE). 
  • Coordinates with personnel regarding work orders, ensures compliance with building and safety regulations, and keeps tools and vehicles in safe operating condition. 
  • Dedicates 20% of the role to participating in meetings, training workshops, and assisting with special projects as assigned. 
  • Leads training and department orientation and serves as Subject Matter Expert for facilities stakeholders.  

Qualifications

What minimum requirements you’ll need 

Required 

  • Universal EPA License  
  • 5 years experience 

 

 

And one or more of the following: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Graduate of trade school. 
  • Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
