You'll travel between sites within an assigned region, working both independently and alongside site technicians and project teams. Pay will depend on experience.

What you'll do

cabinets, and equipment rooms

Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) inspections on schedule set by carrier and client requirements

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant system issues in the field

Respond to emergency service calls and after-hours dispatch for critical high-temperature alarm conditions

Read and interpret site drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics

Complete detailed service reports, work orders, and compliance documentation via tablet or CMMS software

Coordinate site access with tower owners, landlords, and carrier representatives

Maintain accurate inventory of parts, refrigerant, and tools; order replacement parts as needed

Follow OSHA, EPA (Section 608), and company safety protocols at all times

Work safely near active RF (radio frequency) transmission equipment, following RF exposure safety guidelines

Qualifications

1 year of HVAC installation and repair experience preferred; telecom or commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Comfortable working in and around cell tower compounds, confined equipment shelters, and elevated platforms

Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (multimeter use, low-voltage and DC power systems)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work outdoors in all weather conditions

Reliable and willing to travel regionally between sites
