Position Summary Moorings Park is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The HVAC Technician will provide HVAC services with specific responsibility for identifying repair and/or replacement needs; installing, repairing, maintaining & upgrading HVAC systems & equipment; assisting other skilled trades; & ensuring that tools & materials are available at job site.
Key Contributions
- Must be able to receive, plan, schedule & complete work projects involving various HVAC systems.
- Plan, Organize & lay out work for routine & special projects regarding HVAC systems & associated equipment.
- Regulate temperature levels for the facility within accepted comfort ranges.
- Work with independent contractors on various projects.
- Must be able to weld, braze & pipe fit units.
- Reclaim refrigerant & maintain logs as required by governing bodies.
- Must be able to use standard electrical & hand tools, refrigerant gauges, welding & brazing equipment in a safe & correct manner.
- Work from work orders, diagrams, manuals, schematics & supervisor instruction.
- Ability to perform & respond to all emergency situations.
- Assist with general maintenance when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required.
- During emergencies or natural disasters, may be required to remain on duty for the duration of the event.
