The primary duties of an HVAC Install Lead are to oversee the installation of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. This includes managing the installation process, ensuring that all systems are installed according to specifications, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during installation. Safety protocols are a priority, with thorough safety and performance tests conducted on each system. The Install Lead also ensures proper inspection of areas for potential hazards such as carbon monoxide or gas leaks. A strong focus is placed on customer service, including providing homeowners with clear, detailed information about the installation process. Daily tasks involve managing the technical aspects of the job, coordinating team efforts, maintaining truck inventory, and ensuring that installations are completed efficiently and to code. Communication with homeowners is key, ensuring they understand the status of their system during and after the installation.
