About the Role

It's 9 AM and you're already elbow-deep under a kitchen sink, running a snake past a clog three other people gave up on. You clear it, test the line twice to be sure, and log it before moving on. Next stop, a furnace throwing a fault code the night before a guest checks in — you catch it, swap the part, and the property's warm again by lunch. By 3 PM you've closed six tickets, no callbacks, nothing left half-done. A family checks in tonight and turns on the shower without a second thought.

That's the job.

Renjoy manages 200+ vacation homes across Colorado Springs. As our internal Plumbing & HVAC Technician, you're the difference between a five-star stay and an emergency refund. A cold shower or a dead furnace doesn't just cost us a repair — it costs us the review. Your job is to make sure that moment never happens.

A valid Colorado driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are required. Mileage is reimbursed.

What You'll Do

Diagnose & Repair Plumbing

• Clear clogged and slow drains, replace P-traps and supply lines, fix fixture and toilet leaks, service water heaters

• Find the actual problem, not just the symptom sitting closest to the surface

Service HVAC Systems

• Troubleshoot furnaces and basic HVAC faults, replace filters, handle the calls that don't need a licensed HVAC contractor

Patch & Finish

• Handle the drywall, paint touch-up, and general repair work that follows plumbing and HVAC jobs so a property is guest-ready when you leave — not half-finished

Perform at Volume

• Close tickets same-day, every day — no pausing a job to pick back up "later." Later is how small leaks become big ones

Document Everything

• Log every task in Breezeway the day it happens, with photos and materials attached — same-day closure is non-negotiable

You also:

• Have real, hands-on plumbing experience — snaking, fixture repair, water heaters — plus working HVAC knowledge. You don't need a license, but you need to actually know what you're doing

• Follow through — you close what you start the same day

• Are physically comfortable working under sinks, in crawl spaces, and in mechanical closets, and can lift 50+ lbs

• Are comfortable logging tasks, photos, and materials in Breezeway in real time — not from memory at the end of the week

What You Should Know Before You Apply

We believe in transparency:

• The Standard — For every 8 hours clocked, we expect at least 6.8 hours of logged, billable task time. We track this daily, not quarterly.

• The Documentation — Same-day task closure and EOD summaries are not optional. This is the single biggest reason this seat has turned over before — we're being upfront about it now.

• The Probation — The first 90 days come with a performance review against these exact metrics. Hit them, and there's a real path to a raise.

Pay & Schedule

• Full-time, hourly | W2

• $26–$36/hour based on skill and experience

• Mileage reimbursed via Timeero

• Field-based across the Colorado Springs portfolio

• Schedule includes some weekend availability — properties don't take days off
