HVAC Service Technician

Pay: $35 - $45 per hour

Frederick Air Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician for their Frederick, MD location. The ideal candidate will already have HVAC work experience and be able to perform repair/maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner to continue our tradition of top-tier service.

Responsibilities:

  • Services all equipment according to an established service schedule, and company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.
  • Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns.
  • Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submitted daily.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets company quality standards.
  • Build and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image.
  • Follows all safety procedures, including following all safe driving habits and not utilizing mobile devices in vehicles.
  • Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training/education as appropriate.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of HVAC Experience
  • MD Journeyman License & NATE certifications are a plus, or willingness to obtain
  • Valid license with a clean driving record
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $35-$45 per hour. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
