Position Summary:

The Residential HVAC Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems in customers’ homes. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically skilled, and able to deliver professional and trustworthy service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, condensers, mini-splits, and thermostats

  • Perform routine maintenance services such as tune-ups, inspections, and system performance checks

  • Provide customers with clear explanations of issues, options, and recommendations

  • Install replacement components, equipment, and accessories as needed

  • Complete accurate service tickets, documentation, and recommendations

  • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory

  • Follow company safety protocols and industry best practices

  • Communicate effectively with homeowners, dispatch, and team members

  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and standards

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience required .

  • EPA 608 Certification required

  • Strong technical knowledge of residential HVAC systems

  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and service schematics

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to work independently and manage daily workload

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors)
