Comfort Systems USA – Ohio is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive – Commercial HVAC Service to join our Cincinnati Service team.
This is a relationship-driven role focused on managing, retaining, and growing an established portfolio of commercial and industrial customers. You'll get to know your customers, their facilities, HVAC systems, operational priorities, and long-term needs, then help them identify practical solutions that deliver real value.
The focus is not simply on making the next sale. It's about becoming a trusted advisor customers rely on for preventive maintenance, HVAC service agreements, repairs, equipment replacement, retrofits, and mechanical solutions.

What You'll Do
- Manage, retain, and grow an established portfolio of commercial and industrial HVAC customers.
- Build trusted relationships with building owners, facility managers, property managers, operations leaders, and other decision-makers.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer facilities, HVAC systems, budgets, operational priorities, and long-term needs.
- Conduct customer meetings, facility visits, and strategic account reviews.
- Identify opportunities for HVAC service agreements, preventive maintenance, repairs, equipment replacement, retrofits, and mechanical projects.
- Develop proposals and recommendations that clearly communicate technical and financial value.
- Manage service agreement renewals and proactively address potential retention concerns.
- Partner with Service Managers, HVAC technicians, estimators, engineers, and project teams to develop and deliver effective solutions.
- Develop new business through existing relationships, referrals, and strategic opportunities when appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service sales, mechanical services, technical account management, HVAC estimating, service operations, or a closely related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, preventive maintenance, repair services, equipment replacement, and HVAC service operations.
- Proven success managing, retaining, and growing commercial customer accounts.
- Strong consultative selling, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to establish credibility with building owners, facility managers, technical professionals, and commercial decision-makers.
- Understanding of pricing, gross margin, customer retention, and profitable account growth.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Greater Cincinnati market.
Greater Cincinnati market knowledge and experience with HVAC service operations, estimating, equipment replacement, retrofits, design-build, or complex mechanical projects are a plus.
