What You'll Do as Our HVAC Service Manager

• Lead the daily operations of our HVAC service and maintenance departments, ensuring exceptional customer service while meeting operational and financial goals.
• Coordinate technician schedules, dispatch, and on-call rotations to maximize efficiency, minimize drive time, and ensure customers receive timely service.
• Oversee service calls from start to finish, including coordinating parts, tracking job progress, and scheduling return visits to keep work moving smoothly.
• Coach and develop a team of 8–10 HVAC Service Technicians by providing leadership, accountability, performance feedback, and ongoing training to help your team succeed.
• Review invoices, technician notes, and customer recommendations to ensure accurate documentation, consistent communication, and high-quality service.
• Monitor departmental performance through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to improve revenue, technician productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability.
• Collaborate with office staff, technicians, and company leadership to improve communication, streamline operations, and support the continued growth of our service department.

Our Ideal HVAC Service Manager

• Experienced Leader: 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience and know how to build trust, coach employees with patience, resolve challenges effectively, and earn the respect of your team.
• Industry Knowledge: 5+ years of experience in a skilled trade, with HVAC industry experience preferred, and can confidently oversee service operations and technician performance.
• Business-Minded Manager: Experience managing departmental budgets, tracking performance metrics, and making analytical decisions that improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Strong Communicator: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build lasting customer relationships, collaborate across departments, and support your team's success.
• Technically Proficient: A high school diploma or equivalent, comfortable learning FieldEdge and Microsoft Office. A Master HVAC License and EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification are preferred but not required.
• Customer-Focused Team Builder: You believe exceptional customer service starts with developing people, fostering accountability, and creating a positive culture where employees and customers succeed together.

• Competitive Salary: $75,000-$110,000/year (base salary + performance-based bonuses)
