Full job details
We are a growing property management company looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Lead Technician to join our in-house HVAC team. We’re looking for someone with real-world, hands-on experience who can troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of commercial HVAC equipment—and bring that knowledge to the table.
Our portfolio currently includes 700+ HVAC units across several commercial properties in the Philadelphia area.
Equipment You'll Work On
Our systems include:
- Packaged rooftop units (RTUs)
- Boilers and hydronic systems
- Mini-splits
- Water-source heat pumps
- Split systems
- Gas furnaces
- Cooling towers
- Chillers
- Pumps, motors, and related mechanical equipment
- Controls and associated HVAC components
There is a lot to learn across our portfolio—or perhaps you have a lot you can teach us!
Unlike a traditional HVAC service company where you're running calls at different customer locations all day, these are our buildings and our equipment. We perform most preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in-house. You'll have the opportunity to become familiar with the equipment, understand each building's systems, and actually follow repairs and improvements through over time.
What We're Looking For
You should:
- Be proficient in HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Be comfortable diagnosing electrical and mechanical HVAC issues
- Have solid experience with commercial HVAC equipment
- Be able to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
- Be comfortable working independently and as part of an in-house maintenance team
- Possess common HVAC/hand tools
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have reliable transportation to the Philadelphia, PA 19129 area
- Be able to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Participate in an on-call rotation approximately one week every eight weeks
- Live within approximately 30 minutes of the 19129 area
What We Offer
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Consistent, full-time work weeks
- Paid overtime
- Paid national holidays
- 80% employer-paid health insurance
- 401(k) with 4% company match
- Annual performance reviews and raises
- Annual performance bonus
- Occasional overtime opportunities
- Company vehicles for travel between properties
- Primarily in-house work at properties we own and manage
- Opportunity to grow within the company and HVAC team
This is a great position for an experienced technician who enjoys troubleshooting and wants the stability of an in-house role without constantly being dispatched to new customers every day.
You'll work on a broad range of equipment, and no two days are exactly the same. We want someone who knows the trade, takes pride in figuring out problems, and wants to be part of a team where their experience and input are valued.
We are hiring now. If you're interested, please submit your resume for review.
