Job Functions:
Assist Westover Management maintain and operate all HVAC systems.
Inspect and monitor jobs.
Inspect properties for potential liability or problems and report back to Director.
Weekly Status Reports will be completed and sent every Tuesday morning to Director.
Equipment Inspections will take place when a filter change is scheduled for the entire property, problem units will be identified and put on list for replacement, and deficiencies will also be put on a list and dealt with in order of priority.
We will also be cataloging existing equipment and making preventative maintenance schedules for each property. We will perform PM’S on existing older equipment to ensure a unit’s longevity.
Preventive Maintenance will be performed in boiler rooms that will include routine inspections, cleaning out rooms, repairing leaking pipes, installing carbon monoxide detectors, improving lighting, painting floors, making sure electrical devices are covered, and checking flue pipes.
Trouble shoot and investigate any issue that may arise at a property.
Daily travel
Any other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Two years HVAC experience.
Reliable transportation
Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools
Knowledge of water source heat pumps, electric heat pumps, boilers, and hydronic heating.
Lifting and moving of heavy items at least 25 lbs. or more (water heaters, appliances, rock salt, etc.)
Be able to shovel and salt when it snows.
Use a variety of building trade skills.
Be able to use step/extension ladders.
Keep track of inventory.
Identify safety and hazardous conditions and report to Director of Upgrade Division and/or Safety Committee.
Follow Company operational and safety procedures.
A positive, team-oriented attitude.
Attend Continuing Education Courses when required and make sure employees are taking required courses.
