Experienced Commercial HVAC Welder/Pipe Fitter
Perfection Group is looking for an experienced Welder/Pipe Fitter to join our Commercial HVAC Mechanical Division in the Cincinnati, OH area. We're looking for someone who knows the trade, takes pride in their work, and can take a set of drawings, lay out the job, and get it done without constant supervision. - Experience welding steel pressure piping
- Ability to fabricate and weld steel frames and equipment supports
- Must be able to read blueprints and lay out piping systems
- Experience using Viega MegaPress and ProPress
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC piping and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- Dependable, hardworking, and takes pride in doing the job right
- Copper soldering and brazing
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Scissor lift and boom lift certifications
- LULL / telehandler certification
- Experience running jobs or helping younger installers
- Minimum 5 years of commercial welding and pipe fitting experience
- 10+ years preferred
- Most of our projects are within 2.5 hours of Cincinnati
- Some overnight travel is required
- $200 per night per diem for qualifying overnight out-of-town work
- $550 monthly vehicle allowance for superintendents
- Option for a company truck after one year in the superintendent role
- The monthly allowance ends once a company vehicle is provided
