Nature Air Corp is hiring an experienced Fiberglass Duct Installer / Mechanic for commercial HVAC projects throughout South Florida.
This is not an entry-level or helper position. Applicants should already have hands-on experience installing fiberglass duct systems in commercial construction.
Responsibilities
- Install fiberglass ductboard systems
- Measure, cut, fabricate and assemble fiberglass duct and fittings
- Install supply, return, outside-air and related duct systems
- Install flex duct, dampers, diffusers, grilles and registers
- Install hangers and supports
- Follow mechanical plans, layouts and field instructions
- Make field measurements and adjustments as required
- Maintain clean, professional installation standards
- Work independently or alongside other experienced mechanics/installers
Qualifications
- Previous hands-on fiberglass duct installation experience required
- Strong understanding of fiberglass duct fabrication and installation
- Able to accurately read a tape measure
- Able to work from mechanical drawings and layouts
- Familiar with commercial construction
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable attendance
