CTG is seeking to fill a Facilities Maintenance Technician - HVAC position for our client.
Location: Palm Bay, FL
Duration: Permanent Placement
Schedule: NIGHTS - 6:45 PM–7:15 AM, 3 nights one week and 4 nights the next
Duties:
Troubleshoot and maintain industrial HVAC and facility systems, including chillers, air handlers, pumps, VFDs, exhaust fans, and controls.
Perform system walkdowns, inspections, and operational checks.
Complete preventative maintenance on HVAC, water, compressed air, vacuum, controls, and life safety systems.
Research parts, obtain vendor quotes, and support equipment installations.
Assist with facility construction, modifications, and special projects.
Maintain and troubleshoot DI water, waste treatment, nitrogen, and chiller plant systems.
Skills:
Industrial HVAC/refrigeration, chillers, air handling, pumps, compressors, and vacuum systems.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of controls, electrical, process piping, water, and life safety systems is a plus.
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or controls certifications/training preferred.
Experience:
3+ years of industrial HVAC or facilities maintenance experience required.
Experience with facility mechanical systems preferred.
Must be available for overnight shift: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM, 3 nights one week and 4 nights the next.
Must be able to work 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.
Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR requirements.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree in electro-mechanical technology, skilled trades, or related military training preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $25.00 to $30.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
