HVAC Bookkeeper-QuickBooks
Specialist $25-$30ph + Benefits
Medford, MA
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper-QuickBooks Specialist with HVAC industry experience to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of our company.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Enter vendor invoices and customer payments
- Prepare and send customer invoices
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer records
- Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections
- Process vendor payments
- Review transactions for proper coding and accuracy
- Assist with payroll reporting and payroll-related bookkeeping as needed
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Track expenses and assist with job costing
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Resolve billing, vendor, and accounting discrepancies
- Assist management with financial reports and accounting-related projects
Requirements
- HVAC industry experience REQUIRED
- QuickBooks Online experience REQUIRED
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
- Experience with job costing in an HVAC or service environment preferred
- Strong understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
