HVAC Construction Foreman

Description
How you’ll contribute to the team:
- Lead and supervise a team of 1-8 individuals in the installation of commercial HVAC systems.
- Reads and interprets drawings, design models, sketches, and project specifications to determine sequence methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing products, materials, and equipment required to complete project.
- Sets RTUs, Curbs, Splits Systems and Equipment.
- Installs TDC, S&D, Black Iron, and Stainless Duct.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and organize workflow, including material allocation.
- Communicates and works with fabrication shop personnel to ensure timely fabrication and delivery of fabricated material for each job.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to HVAC apprentices.
- Travels outside area and works overtime as needed.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Professional appearance.
- Valid drivers license and good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional licensing, technical training, or certifications in HVAC or sheet metal fabrication a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and sheet metal fabrication techniques.

- Working on job sites in all weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.
- Be able to work at height, including ladders or lifts, and in confined spaces.
- Must have the physical strength to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50lbs, and have the balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check are required.
