Seeking experienced HVAC Technicians with a current Connecticut D2 or S2 license for a direct hire opportunity with our client in South Windsor, CT.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, 401K, company vehicle, and gas card!
Pay: $40 - $55 hourly (based on experience)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service on commercial HVAC systems.
- Maintain all required trade licenses and certifications.
- Comply with Section 608 of the Clean Air Act and all applicable federal, state, and local occupational safety regulations.
- Attend required safety training.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly utilize required PPE when installing, maintaining, or servicing HVAC systems.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance while working at customer locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Be available to work overtime and weekends as business demands require.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current Connecticut S2 or D2 license required.
- EPA 608 Universal certification required.
- Commercial HVAC systems experience required.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to respond to service calls on short notice.
- Must maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The position requires the ability to:
- Walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Use hands and fingers to handle tools and equipment.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Climb ladders and stairways.
- Talk, hear, and smell.
- Occasionally sit.
- Frequently lift and/or move items weighing 0–50 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing 51–100 lbs.
- Seldom lift and/or move items weighing 101+ lbs.
