Job Requirements

The (HVAC) Service Technician is responsible for executing field service activities, including preventative maintenance, inspections, start-ups, and emergency repairs, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of systems according to design specifications and customer requirements. This role demands meticulous system troubleshooting capability, strict adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.

You should be able to repair generators, respond to emergency calls, and commission new systems. This position is part of the union and will follow the policies, benefits and perks set forth under the local's Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The hourly rate is dependent on the level of expertise and includes pension, health insurance and annuity. The Company provides the necessary tools, equipment, vehicle with gas card, clothing, laptop, and cell phone.


Work Experience
  • HVAC installation and service in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks and warranty work to ensure the efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions, then performing the appropriate HVAC or ATC system repairs.
  • Recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
  • Performing energy-efficiency upgrades, like installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts
  • Current New Hampshire drivers license 
  • Must be EPA 608 certified for Refrigerants
