HVAC Service Technician ll/lll

Star Service, the leading HVAC Service provider throughout the entire Gulf Coast, is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team in the Austin/San Antonio area

In this role, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a variety of commercial facilities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, pumps, and controls.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Accurately complete service tickets and communicate findings to the office and customer.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and safety regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls (as applicable). 

Qualifications: 

• 3-5 + years of commercial HVAC service experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• HVAC journeyman’s license (preferred, or ability to obtain).
• Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills. 

Soft Skills: 

• Must have the ability to work independently within minimal supervision 

• Ability to work 40 hours per week plus on call for emergencies 

• Must have the desire to build, train and promote a team from ground up
