Are you looking for a company that offers strong hourly pay, aggressive commissions, installation bonuses, and actually invests in your training and development?

If that sounds like you, Rocket Cooling wants to meet you.

About Us

Rocket Cooling is a rapidly growing, independently owned HVAC company led by two ambitious entrepreneurs, not a large corporation or private equity fund.

We’re building a company where great technicians can do their best work without unnecessary corporate red tape, high-pressure sales tactics, or being treated like just another number.

We believe in taking care of our customers, doing the job right, and rewarding the people who make it happen.

We invest heavily in our people, cutting-edge technology, and ongoing training. Our goal is to give our technicians the tools, knowledge, and support they need to be among the best in the industry.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced, well-rounded HVAC Technician who is comfortable handling residential service calls, preventive maintenance, and system installations.

This isn’t a position where you’ll be limited to doing the same thing every day. We need someone versatile, technically skilled, and confident working independently across different types of HVAC jobs.

Our office is located in Port St. Lucie, but the majority of your work will be in Stuart and the surrounding communities.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment, solve challenging problems, and build lasting relationships with customers who appreciate quality workmanship.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and tune-ups.
• Install and replace residential air conditioning systems and associated components.
• Troubleshoot low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Install and repair refrigerant piping, including brazing and proper refrigeration practices.
• Perform ductwork modifications, repairs, and installations as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, comfort, efficiency, and reliability.
• Educate customers on their HVAC systems and provide honest, practical recommendations.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate effectively with customers and the office.
• Keep your assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to assist customers with urgent HVAC needs.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, with a strong background in residential service, maintenance, and installation.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and confidently handle a variety of HVAC jobs.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, refrigerant circuits, and system installations.
• Knowledge of modern HVAC equipment, including variable-speed and communicating systems, is a plus.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Trade school education or additional HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Experience using ServiceTitan is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in quality workmanship.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, treats customers fairly, and wants to be part of a team that’s building something great.

Compensation & Benefits

Great technicians deserve great pay, the best tools, and opportunities to keep getting better.

At Rocket Cooling, we invest in our people and reward the skills, hard work, and dedication they bring to the job.

• Strong hourly compensation that reflects your experience and technical abilities.
• Aggressive commission structure that rewards performance and exceptional customer service.
• Additional installation bonuses for technicians who contribute to equipment replacements and installations.
• Frequent technical training to keep your skills sharp and help you stay ahead of advancements in HVAC technology.
• Cutting-edge technology and tools to make your job easier, improve diagnostics, and deliver better results for customers.
• Company-provided service vehicle (Fleet of new Mercedes Sprinters) and fuel card.
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance options
• 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
• Paid time off
• Opportunities for career advancement within a rapidly growing company
