HVAC Technician

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a HVAC Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system as required.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Ensure guest comfort by maintaining proper indoor air quality and temperature levels.
  • Optimize system operations for energy efficiency and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Respond promptly to HVAC-related emergencies and guest complaints.
  • Assist with the installation of new HVAC systems and components if applicable.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance tasks with minimal disruption.
  • Safely handle refrigerants and chemicals according to industry and environmental guidelines.
