Position Summary
The Warranty Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving warranty-related issues on both newly installed HVAC systems and existing service work. This role requires a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, installation knowledge, and a customer-first mindset.
This is a unique, flexible position that adapts to business needs. When warranty demand is low, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Run traditional service calls and earn commissions, or
- Complete installation work and earn piece-rate pay.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair warranty-related issues on new HVAC installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve warranty service concerns on existing systems.
- Identify root causes of equipment or installation issues and perform quality repairs.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding repairs and system operation.
- Document findings, repairs, and warranty claims accurately.
- Collaborate with installation, service, and management teams to resolve recurring issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area.
- Follow all company safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Support the service or installation team as business demands change.

Requirements
- 3–5+ years of residential HVAC service and installation experience (more experience is highly valued).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working on a wide variety of HVAC equipment and systems.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and technical documentation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- EPA Certification required.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
