$52 to $60/hr plus overtime | Take-home van

We're looking for experienced Master Lead Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to support customers throughout the DC/MD market.

Our team serves a diverse portfolio of commercial facilities including schools, healthcare facilities, laboratories, data centers, government buildings, refrigeration warehouses and Class A office properties.

You'll work on a wide range of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems, build long-term customer relationships, mentor developing technicians, and join a team that values technical expertise, safety, and professional growth.

• Lead troubleshooting efforts on challenging service calls and serve as a technical resource for fellow technicians.
• Manage preventative maintenance and service activities across an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
• Mentor and support junior technicians in the field, helping develop their technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Create clear, professional service reports and communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Identify repair, retrofit, and replacement opportunities and provide solution recommendations that deliver value to customers.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of commercial HVAC service experience with in-depth knowledge of rooftop units, VRF systems, hydronic and steam boilers, pumps and towers, VFDs and building-automation integration and experience starting up and commissioning replacement equipment.

• Maryland Master HVAC
• Proven experience mentoring, training, and developing HVAC technicians in the field.
• Ability to scope, estimate, and help execute commercial HVAC repair, replacement, and retrofit projects.
• Advanced experience with major OEM equipment platforms and manufacturer training from Trane, Carrier, York/JCI, Daikin, or similar.

• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation (only once every 6-8 weeks!)
• Professional communication skills, both in the field and in written service documentation

Bonus Points For

• Critical-environment and healthcare experience; BAS programming on one platform; the path and the appetite to become a service manager or operations manager.

• Experience with building automation systems such as Niagara, Metasys, Tracer, or Desigo.
• Critical-environment experience supporting healthcare facilities, data centers, laboratories, or other mission-critical operations.
• OEM training from Trane, Carrier, York/JCI, Daikin, or similar manufacturers.
• NATE, A2L, or other industry certifications.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Interest in future leadership opportunities such as Service Supervisor, Service Manager, or Operations Manager.
• Chiller experience

What You Get

• Earn $52-$60/hour, with pay based on your experience, technical expertise, and license level.
• Take home a company vehicle, fuel card, phone, and everything you need to do your job successfully.
• Access consistent overtime opportunities and additional compensation through our on-call rotation.
• Continue growing your skills through company-paid OEM training, building automation exposure, and A2L refrigerant certification.
• Advance your career with company-paid Journeyman and Master HVAC licensing support.
• Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and paid holidays.
• Build a long-term career with a team that values technical expertise, rewards initiative, and promotes from within.
• The stability and resources of a publicly traded parent company with the culture and relationships of a locally operated service team that has served this market for nearly 55 years.
