Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC/R Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
- Certifications:
- EPA Universal
- HVAC
- Journemay HVAC not required but desired
- NATE Certied is desired but not required
- At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
