Senior HVAC Service Technician – Direct Hire

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with an expanding HVAC contractor in the Columbus, Ohio area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys being hands-on in the field but is also interested in taking the next step in their career. This position offers a clear path into leadership and the opportunity to grow into a future General Manager role.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform seasonal maintenance, system inspections, and equipment change-outs
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC issues
• Communicate with customers regarding system issues, recommended solutions, and pricing
• Accurately document service calls and completed work
• Mentor and support other technicians
• Assist with scheduling, customer concerns, and day-to-day service operations
• Support installation crews and fellow technicians as needed
• Participate in ongoing technical, leadership, and operations training

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of HVAC service, maintenance, and/or installation experience
• EPA 608 Type II or Universal certification required
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Residential and light commercial HVAC experience
• Lead Technician, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred
• Interest in growing into a future management/General Manager position
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• ServiceTitan or similar field-service software experience is a plus
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation & Benefits:

• $40–$50/hr based on experience
