HVAC Service Sales Account Representative

Position Summary

The HVAC Service Sales Account Representative is responsible for growing the company’s preventative maintenance portfolio by developing new business, nurturing existing customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to improve the performance and reliability of customers’ HVAC systems. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customers receive exceptional service while building long-term partnerships.

We are looking for a driven, customer-focused professional who is eager to learn the commercial HVAC business, embraces coaching and continuous improvement, and takes ownership of customer relationships from the initial introduction through ongoing account management.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop new preventative maintenance agreement opportunities within an assigned territory.
  • Build, manage, and grow long-term customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
  • Conduct customer site visits to evaluate facility needs, including safely accessing HVAC equipment areas through proper rooftop access and safe use of ladders, while identifying opportunities and recommending preventive maintenance solutions.
  • Prepare and present maintenance agreement proposals and follow up to secure new business.
  • Retain and expand existing maintenance agreements by identifying additional service opportunities.
  • Partner with Service Operations to ensure customers receive a seamless experience from sale through service delivery.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline, customer activity, and forecast.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a client service-first mindset.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Sales, customer service, or account management experience preferred; HVAC or mechanical industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve results.
  • Eager to learn commercial HVAC systems and preventative maintenance solutions.
  • Open to coaching, training, and continuous professional development.
  • Organized with strong follow-up and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other required software.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
