Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of commercial HVAC service or facilities maintenance experience.
  • Experience diagnosing rooftop and packaged commercial HVAC systems.
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to travel between locations during the workday.
  • Comfort working on rooftops, lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Service rooftop units, packaged systems, split systems, air handlers, exhaust fans, and controls.
  • Troubleshoot refrigerant, airflow, electrical, and mechanical problems.
  • Respond promptly to urgent HVAC issues and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs when needed.
  • Maintain accurate service records and preventive-maintenance schedules.
